I think I swollowed toad venom, and now I am sick?
I live in Minnesota, and last night I picked up a frog that was in my basement to put it outside. My fingers got wet with its venom, and then I forgot to wash my hands,and I ate chips... (and you know how you lick your fingers when you eat chips). But any way later that night i got really sick and puked, but now I feel a little better.
Did I get sick from toad venom??? Is it possible???

If it was a toad, there's a chance that this was due to the toxin that some toads secrete from the glands on their heads. Of course, it's also possible that it was due to something else, like a stomach virus or something else on your hands, or something else you ate or drank. I've handled lots of frogs and toads, often in my younger days without taking much care to wash up afterward, and I can't remember ever having a problem afterward. Still, that doesn't prove much one way or the other, and in any case, it doesn't seem to have been too nasty, so just take care in future to wash up after handling toads.
