Can you believe the #1 player in high school football went to BYU?
I forget his name, I know he's a QB though.
If there's fair competition, I bet he'd definately beat out Max Hall and start right away.
Will he take BYU to their first national championship since 1984 and accomplish something that has never been done in the BCS era (a non-BCS conference school winning it all)?
his name is Jake Heaps and he goes to Skyline High School in Sammamish, Washington
his commitment to BYU had to do a lot with his faith as a LDS. He will most likely be going on a mission trip during his stay at BYU.
and idk if he can take them that far though really too early to speculate especially with a team like BYU, they're a great qb school though...u gota remember he hasn't even taken his first snap in college yet
anyways i believe it's his teammate Kasen Williams (only a sophomore) right now that everybody should be looking at. Already has offers from florida, LSU, Cal, UW, Stanford, UCLA, WSU, Boise State, Tennesee, and BYU and he is still only a sophomore in high school
