I’m very enthusiastic about City Council Ward 4 candidate, David Wiechman. His 27years of community servant-leadership in Lakewood is unparalleled. He is, without question, the best prepared for this position. Below is a very short list of David’s community service and training background:

Board of Jefferson Center for Mental Health member for five years

Vice president of West Metro Fire District; instrumental in adding 28 more firefighters, five more vehicles, improved communication and training centers

In addition to his service to Lakewood in many leadership capacities, David has a long track record of digging in and contributing whenever and wherever a hand is needed. For many years he has attended PTA and service club meetings; worked in neighborhood cleanups; delivered newsletters; participated in task forces; and attended city council meetings, retreats, and budget planning sessions. While tirelessly serving his community in more behind-the-scenes capacities than highly visible ones, Dave has developed the tenacity, stamina, and servant-leadership qualities essential for those who serve the public with excellence.
