Been blowing a gale here since Thursday also cold & miserable. It is July and not October isn't it?
NE Scotland Peterhead the place where it's winter nearly all year round.
I have to wonder just what month it is. I got the Isle of Man ferry from Liverpool last night. They had to send another boat over because the wind was too strong and the sea too rough for the normal one.We were stuck there for four hours waiting for it to arrive,and didn't even get a cup of tea off the ferry company,and had to pay full price for tea and coffee on the boat. They even tried to charge me £1.85 instead of the advertised £1.75 for a coffee,saying the prices poster was out of date. I put them straight about the Law on that one and paid the advertised price. We finally got to Douglas at 2.45 am instead of 9.30 pm,so a lot of people (including me) had to get a taxi home at night rates. What a miserable time. In what is supposed to be summer!!!
