There was no doubt in my mind that Petraeus did betray us and himself when he agreed to run the Iraq occupation just the way the Bush administration asked him to, conflicting with what he wrote in his book on counter insurgency.
If he doesn't stand up for what he wrote in his book then he is a traitor or the book is fiction.
