Does the court service close up completely for july/august in Northern Ireland?
Can a Personal injury case still be still listed in july/august??
No, the Magistrates court and county courts remain open. The High Court is closed for all but emergency or urgent business.
A PI claim can still be listed (for trial) in July or August but as listing requires all the witnesses and the advocates to be able to make the date too, it will probaly not be listed from the period of the 12th fortnight to end August.
