Where are these following Rocklegends nowadays? anybody follows up them?
Where are these following Rocklegends nowadays? anybody follows up them?
Lynyrd Skynyrd with Johnny Van Zant on voice (Ronnie´s younger brother), Grand Funk Railroad, Deep Purple, James Gang, Pink Floyd, Genesis, ELP, John Fogerty & his band (Creedence Clearwater Revisited). Where are they now? I miss them all, these bands have conquered the world and won the hearts of many youngsters in my era in the middle of 70´s.
except Led Zeppelin ( I saw the DVD reunion cause they need the money).
we understand a very good taste of music.

Well, since most of the other bands have already been spoken for by others, I won't worry about alot of them, but ELP,do you mean ELO? Anyway, I know Genesis has long since broken up, and Phil Collins has been doing solo albums for at least 20 years, CCR broke up, but John Fogerty is still putting out solo music. If I remember right, he just put out a new album within the past year or so. Lynyrd Skynyrd, from what I'm told, is essentially a country band now, but I could be mistaken. Other great bands like Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper are still around, Sabbath is allegedly recording a new studio album with Ozzy, although who knows if that will happen, since they've been saying that for around 8-9 years now. Alice just put out his latest album in 2006 called Dirty Diamonds, it's far from his best album, but not his worst. (That "honor" goes to his Dada album, released in the early 1980's) But, I can say one thing for certain, I love alot of today's rock and heavy metal music, but it definitely doesn't have the same feeling that the bands did in the 1970's. My guess is that it just doesn't have the same soul as those bands did.
