Wicked The Musical Tickets?
For the entire month of August, the musical Wicked is playing in Columbus. My 17th birthday is in August, however, I live about an hour and a half out of Columbus. Is it unreasonable to ask my parents for tickets ($55) to see Wicked and for the car to drive up there with a friend who wants to see it as well? I would only ask for my ticket, my friend would pay for hers, and I would pay for the gas to get up there.
Honestly, if you have the money to spend I would go see it. You are offering to pay for a lot of it, so I feel like your parents should not be offended if you ask them. But if it turns out you can't go, don't be upset! It's not the most amazing show in the world! Good luck - hope you get there. XD
PS- this might not be a good idea since you live further away from the theatre... But most theatres will have "student rush" tickets. If you go to the theatre a few hours before the show starts and show your student ID, they'll give you leftover tickets for a cheaper prince. (Think around $25.) Of course, it all depends on if your theatre does that, how many tickets were left that day, etc. Just a suggestion tho, if your parents think $55 is too steep.
