whats the difference between the xbox 360 core system and the premium package?
premium comes with wireless controller, live headset, and 20 GB hard drive, better video cables, and maybe a couple others I cant think of right now
Core come with only the basics (i.e. no hard drive - you will need to buy a memory card if you want to save games)
You will definitely need a HD to do any downloading off of Xbox Live.
I would go with either the Premium or Elite system
