Pair Lowers
Pair Lowers
Im Having a good brand lowering springs installed in my Civic without new struts, will it be a real bad ride?
I am going to have a pair of good popular brand lowering springs and front camber arms installed on my 99 Civic in a few days. But im not going to replace the shocks/struts, they are going to remain the stock ones.
Ive heard that if u put in lowering springs and new camber kit WITHOUT new performance struts that the ride will be terrible, is this true? My friend has had JUST lowering springs without even new camber kit on his sentra for 4 years and hes never had a problem with the stock struts...
These springs will be lowering my car 1 and 3/4 inch. Will it be ok? Please give me honost advice
Honestly, I would get yourself some better struts as well. Generally speaking, aftermarket lowering springs are too strong for the stock struts and will blow out the stock struts in a short period of time. For your safety and ride quality, I would definitely suggest that you upgrade your struts at the same time for a better set. The last thing you want is a bouncy ride or wheel-hop, especially when you're going around a corner.
If you need a good set of struts, Tokico blues are superb for the price and very high quality.
