I'm looking for a recipe?
I used to have a recipe for German Pizza. It was sent out to Interstate Power customers a long time ago. The company is now called Alliant Energy. It had a shredded potato crust with an egg and milk mixture poured over the top and was made in an electric skillet. It was very good, my family loved it and I'd like to make it for them again. I've done an internet search and wasn't able to find it. Can anyone out there in YA help me out?

GERMAN PIZZA
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter
6 potatoes, peeled and shredded
3 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. milk
2 c. shredded Cheddar or Mozzarella cheese
In a 12 inch stove top skillet or electric skillet over medium heat, brown beef with onion, peppers, salt and pepper. Drain. Remove from skillet. Reduce heat to low. Melt butter, spread potatoes over top. Top with beef. Combine eggs and milk; pour over all. Cover. Cook until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes. Top with cheese, cover, cook until cheese melts.
